Welcome to our resort for pooches.  Beautifully appointed individual cottages will give your favorite four legger a vacation beyond their wildest dreams!  Each cottage is tastefully decorated with all the comforts of home.  Each cottage features a separate yard for lounging and playing.  Guests also have access to a community play yard.  The community Bark Park is available upon request as well!

The Applewood Cottage, the Birchwood Inn and the Wildflower Meadow Chalet all have web cams that will allow you to see your bundle of joy at any time of the day or night.  Each cottage is individually heated and cooled to your pooches specifications.

Happy 2010!

We have had a wonderful year at The Houndstooth Bed and Barkery and we have thoroughly enjoyed the great guests that stayed with us during 2009!

Many things are planned for 2010. We will continue to make each cottage a home away from home and have already begun personalizing each yard. Trees have beautiful Cypress Pine graces the Adirondack Lodge, a Apple Tree sits in front of the Applewood Cottage and a Willow Tree (also known as the Sillie Tilly Willie Tree) makes a fun addition to the Wildflower Meadow Chalet.

More interior decorating will be done over the next several months as well. All in hopes of creating a very special and memorable vacation experience for your furfriend.

Also of note, we will be closing off the cottages for the month of February. The weather is so cold and miserable typically that we are only able to have limited
interaction with the guests…. It is just too cold and the guests would rather not venture out of their warm and cozy cottage! Plus this will give the Houndstooth Humans a bit of rest! The shoppe will of course remain open during February.

We hope to meet many new guests at The Houndstooth Bed and Barkery during the upcoming year and look forward to sniffing so many of our past guests too!
 

Cottages are available through the holiday seasons just plan to bring your furfriend before December 24 and do not plan a check out until December 26..
